What is Globe Trot?

GlobeTrot's purpose (its raison d'être) is to create an interactive forum wherein language learners acquire new knowledge by editing and critiquing intentionally flawed translations.
GlobeTrot works by:
Showing students how to make use of the words they don't know:
- Use Lingro to quickly reference millions of natively-generated definitions, translations, and synonyms.
- Add your own feedback and translational edits with A.nnotate.
- Ask questions and suggest edits with Facebook Comment.
- Or use the Wibiya toolbar to post to other popular social sites.
- Use Lingro Extras to build your own word lists and flash cards from the words you've already clicked on, and then see how each word is used in its original context.
